Congratulations to Dejan from Lincoln

Queens Park School says "congratulations" to Dejan for his World Championship boxing win. We are proud to have his picture in the classroom.

We have sent the photographs and a postcard to Dejan

Today 15th November 2010 RAF Number 8 Squadron presented Queens Park School with a new minibus. Class 10 students went to RAF Waddington to receive the minibus. The squadron has worked very hard to raise money to buy the minibus for us.

The weather was fabulous for us with a bright blue sunny sky which was perfect for the bar-b-cue after the presentation. The burgers were cooked very well.

In the photograph above Wing Commander Paul Moss is handing over the keys to the minibus to Jan Robinson (Class 10 teacher) with the AWAC's aircraft in the back ground.

We are very grateful to the men and women of Number 8 Squadron for giving us this new minibus and it will be used a great deal in our work at school.

Opening of the new school for each school is a major event! In particular this applies to you, because you waited for it more than 5 years. Sorry we could not see and hear through skype, but we were waiting at the appointed hour. Never mind. We recorded our wishes for you, so you can watch it.
